Shamanic Plant Medicine Retreat in Mexico
Plant Medicine Retreat in Mexico
Shamanism has been on the Planet since the beginning of time for its an intricate part of human existence to protect and heal the health of the earth and that of the human inhabitants.
We will work deeply with the Medicines of the Amazon. That being:
Ayahuasca — also known as the tea, the vine, and la purga — is a brew made from the leaves of the Psychotria Viridis shrub along with the stalks of the Banisteriopsis caapi vine, other Plants can be added to for other aspects such as deep heart healing plants.
This drink was used for spiritual and religious purposes by ancient Amazonian tribes and is still used as a sacred beverage by some religious communities in Central America in Brazil. I work predominantly with The Shipibo Tribe in Peru.
I have worked with many Plant Medicines but in my experience find Ayahuasca the deepest healing for the Soul. Giving life-changing experiences. This can help heal depression, trauma, grief, PTSD, addictions, anxiety, negative mindset, help heal relationships, heal childhood traumas, help break relationship patterns with narcissists, help bring clarity, provide you a gateway to understanding yourself and the uNiverse. By working to set clear intentions you can gain support to heal and move forward from a vast variety of things that can hold you back in life. Hold you back from feeling joy and internal happiness.
Bobinsana - is native to South American and is prevalent throughout the Amazon in the countries of Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Bolivia, and Brazil. The plant has several medicinal uses, as well as spiritual qualities.
Chuchuhuasi - (alternately spelled chucchu huashu, and sometimes shortened to chuchasha). This name in all its permutations means "trembling back,'' due to the bark's effectiveness in relieving back pain, helping arthritis, rheumatism, it's an amazing antioxidant and aphrodisiac. Suburb for healing the sacral chakra. This supports the opening of the heart.
Cacao - is an opportunity to connect to yourself and open your heart. Because of cacao’s ability to increase your connection to your inner self and your heart, it aids in any transformational shift you are working towards, whether you are looking to deepen your understanding of who you are, release old patterns and traumas, or move into a more self-confident space.
Rappé - is a dried and powdered snuff that is usually blown into the nose through a blowpipe. The main ingredients of the snuff are usually tobacco and tree ash, but oftentimes other seeds, leaves, and plants may be added for additional properties or even just for the aroma. Seeds like yopo or wilka may be added to increase the visionary properties of the snuff, or flowers might be added to instill more feminine and nurturing energy. The snuff is made during a lengthy and intensive ritual process to invoke the maker’s medicine and the spirits of the plants used.
What is Soul Retrieval?
When we are fully in our Soul we feel whole, full of joy and lightness in Be-ing. It's our energy this connects us to a higher calling and purpose, our passions in life. The mind is concise and clear when the Soul is whole.
Soul loss can occur at any time in life during trauma, loss, grief, accidents anything that is painful and shocking can take parts of us away. It's a logical response to pain. Soul Retrievals can be instant and life-changing. Restoring you from death and being enslaved to the Ego.
From a shamanic perspective, soul loss is a common cause of illness. Traditionally, a shamanic practitioner would conduct soul retrieval within three days of someone experiencing trauma. Today, modern shamanic practitioners seek lost soul parts that are willing to return from any point in life.
There will be 5 Ayahuasca Ceremonies. 5 Rappe Ceremonies. One Yopo Ceremony. Each Ceremony will be unique to precisely what you need. I work in a way that each person receives precisely what they need to heal deeply and move into a new way of being. By working with aspects of Plant Medicine and Traditional Shamanism that give you an ability to heal and gain knowledge to take home with you to self heal once the retreat has ended. To heal and empower you.
We will conduct Ancient Shamanic Ritual, Ceremony and work deeply with the emphasis on Soul/Power Retrieval to restore you, bring you to a state of wholeness.
We will delve into the aspect of Shamanic Earth Healing for those that feel a calling to give honour and support to the Earth at this time. Each person will gain their own unique way to heal we will join together and gift healing and receive insight from the Earth in a Shamanic way of life.
The other aspects may come into play if it's needed. I work to provide each participant what they need to heal deeply.
